Happy International Day of Friendship!

Today is a beautiful opportunity to embrace the power of human connection and solidarity.

At The Brave Girl Project, we believe that fostering strong bonds of friendship can lead to positive transformations in our world and within ourselves. This year, we invite you and your amazing daughter to join us in celebrating this special day by sharing a message of love, kindness, and self-empowerment to your friends and yourself.

What is the International Day of Friendship?

The United Nations proclaimed the International Day of Friendship in 2011 with the vision that friendship has the potential to inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities, countries, cultures, and individuals.

Together, We Can Make a Difference!

This International Day of Friendship, let's come together as a community, embracing the values of love, understanding, and respect for one another.

Here are some ways you and your daughter can celebrate and make a difference:

Send a Kind Note: Encourage your children to spread positivity by writing a kind note to someone, either online or in real life. A few kind words can brighten someone's day and create lasting connections.

Practice Inclusivity: Talk with your children about the importance of being inclusive and accepting of others. Let them know that they have the power to make a difference in someone's life simply by being a good friend.

Engage in Community Activities: Participate in community activities that embrace different cultures and backgrounds. Together, we can promote mutual understanding and work towards building bridges between communities.

Promote Self-Love: Remind your tween and teen girls of the significance of self-love and self-care. Please encourage them to appreciate their uniqueness and talents, fostering a positive relationship with themselves.

Discuss Bullying Prevention: Have open conversations about bullying and its impact. Empower your children to stand up against bullying and support those experiencing it.

As we gear up for the start of the new school year, let's create an atmosphere of love, compassion, and empowerment. Together, we can make a profound difference in our lives and the lives of others.

It is a day that emphasizes the importance of involving young people, our future leaders, in activities that promote international understanding, respect for diversity, and solidarity.

By nurturing friendships and engaging in acts of compassion, we can address the root causes of crises and challenges in our world, ultimately striving for a better, united, and harmonious future.

In The Brave Girl Tribe, my community for girls in 5th to 8th grade, we will be celebrating the International Day of Friendship during our coaching call on July 30, 2023. Let me know if your daughter would like to join us as our guest for this or any other future evening's call at 7 pm EST/4 pm PST by simply emailing me: [email protected]

You can always schedule to chat with me. Click here

Remember, We don't need to wait; every day is an opportunity to celebrate friendship and show appreciation to our friends. You can download the images and send them to your friend to tell them you appreciate their friendship. Download

I am so glad we are friends!

Warmly,

Laura Hayes
